The Stranger
I looked in the mirror,
And what did I see,
But the face of myself.
That was nothing like me.
It was a face of a stranger covering my own;
It had entered my body.
Was I it's new home?
I studied the stranger.
For many of days.
As last I realized.
It was going to stay.
I soon grew to know it.
And like it as well,
What others would think;
Only time would tell,
I started to change.
In other ways too;
People said I look different;
I said I just grew.
I took on a new person.
I took on a new trend.
And my stranger and I.
Are now best of friends.
